Songs can take many forms on their way to the final version people hear on record, and for us we like to strike while the iron’s hot and get an idea down while it’s still fresh. Nick came up with the idea for “I’m Givin” over 10 years ago, and we’ve demoed the song many times over the years. The demo presented here is the very first demo recorded way back in the day, on a cheap microphone on some dodgy computer – but the main melody and drive of the song is already there. When we recorded our first batch of songs as Fool’s Union, “I’m Givin” finally got it’s chance to shine and became one of the songs we really wanted everyone to hear.
